In 2006, El-Razi center founded the therapeutic daycare in Rahat in accordance with the 2000 Rehabilitation Daycare Law which was approved by the Knesset.
El-Razi's therapeutic daycare in Rahat was established based on a future vision that meets the needs of all alternative treatments for children through a professional experience and research in this field giving priority to treatments in early childhood.
Children who are less than 3 years old, and suffer from disabilities in movement or senses, or from any intellectual disability or autism, who are recognized by the National Insurance Institute, or children with a DQ less than 55.
The daycare center provides all suitable treatments where a staff from multiple disciplines provides alternative treatments to children in fields that include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work, special education and mental health.
In addition, a wide staff of therapeutic assistants work in the daycare. They nurse children and answer their basic needs in terms of eating and personal hygiene. They also have a vital role in providing individual round-the-clock treatments.
The daycare works under the approval of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Social Services and the Ministry of Health. It was founded in accordance with standards approved by law. In addition to the 3 classrooms and their facilities, there are the principal office, a special education room, a certified nurse, a physiotherapy room, an occupational therapy room, a speech therapy room and a social worker office.
